Meet Val Monroe

Miss Community, Val Monroe, is passionate about bringing the word of God to her listeners. For more than 26 years, she has worked in broadcasting, with stints at WDIV-TV, Comcast Cable and Mix 92.3 before calling WCHB her home. The Val Monroe Show gives this ordained minister a platform to pray for her listeners and build onto the church community. “My hope is that my show brings music for the soul along with an uplifting message and a reason to rejoice,” Val says. “I believe I have the ability to connect with my audience to encourage them to keep going even when things are tough.”

Val’s show edifies, encourages and comforts you as she brings God’s message of hope and healing into your home, car and workplace. For positive thoughts, traffic and weather reports plus uplifting music, tune in weekdays from 3:00-6:00 p.m. to the Val Monroe Show.
